The latest research by American nonprofits Pew Internet analyzes the news that Americans consume and how they come to these news.

The study included 2259 adult respondents, and the results showed that three quarters of people (75%) to obtain information online and receive news forwarded by e-mail messages or over the status-set on social networks, while half of them (52%) to constantly make or transmitted news to others via e-mail with your profile page for social networking to leave links to news, says Mashable.

Heather Dougherty, director of research in Hitwiseu, the company that deals with online marketing and e-commerce, said the number of visits to Facebook grew by 185 percent in the past year, while Google rose only nine percent.

The application is designed to promote healthy lifestyle among young people. With your photo, the application will ask all of your bad habits. Interested in how it would not be eating, too much drink, use drugs, the sun and smoke.

Judges from the jury for the application said: “The new, useful, popular and has a social value, and raise their children to make decisions about the future.”

Interesting applications to social network Facebook called MirrorMe offers users an idea that would eventually be able to look when they grow old they are and face wrinkles. It is this application won an award for media innovation, which the author assigned Guardian newspaper.

Photographer Jenn Marsh from Thamesvillea in Canada did not know what name to give her fifth child, and has requested assistance through Facebook.
Specifically, she launched a contest on Facebook, and asked users to suggest there for her.

“Coming to us truly unique and beautiful name. I could not even dream that so many people leave their proposal,” said Jenn’s mother.

The competition is set a week ago and says a few days already received over 500 proposals.

Jenn and her husband Joe did not want to say that gender is a baby because they wanted everyone to write a proposal regardless of whether it is male or female name.
